Report: Arsenal Man Pens New Contract as the Gunners Look Towards Announcement
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract.
According to FootballTransfers, the club’s hierarchy plans to announce this before the new season begins, particularly with new player acquisitions expected in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Although the precise length of the contract and the details of the pay raise are still unknown, sources within Arsenal indicate they are likely to extend for another three years.
Since transitioning from his apprenticeship under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City to leading Arsenal from the winter of 2019, Arteta has steered the club through numerous phases, including a resurgence as title contenders and an FA Cup victory.
Well-regarded by the club’s executives, Arteta has agreed to terms extending his current contract, which is set to expire in June 2025. However, an official announcement will likely be made only after the current season ends.

Mikel Arteta Set to Stay
The 42-year-old manager has led Arsenal to one FA Cup victory and two Community Shield titles. Last week, under his guidance, the Gunners’ win at Manchester United set a new club record with 27 Premier League victories in a season, with one game still remaining.
Despite this success, Arsenal missed out on the Premier League title after Manchester City defeated West Ham 3-1 on the final day at the Etihad Stadium.
As previously reported, the club plan to make significant investments in the upcoming transfer window, with a focus on strengthening their forward line by acquiring a top-tier No. 9.
Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak are major targets, but it is understood that RB Leipzig’s striker will be the priority due to Newcastle’s high asking price for the Swedish international.
