Arsenal Contact Premier League Star for a Possible Summer Move After Reports of Cut-price Deal

Arsenal have reached out to Bruno Guimaraes’ representatives regarding a potential summer move, with indications that he could be secured below his release clause.

According to Ben Jacobs, a reporter for 90min, Arsenal have set their sights on Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes for a summer transfer.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in Guimaraes.

Jacobs claims that despite Guimaraes having a £100 million release clause and a verbal agreement allowing him to discuss terms with Champions League clubs, Newcastle are keen on retaining the midfielder.

Under the terms of their agreement, Newcastle will entertain offers exceeding £80 million, even if they do not meet the £100 million threshold.

According to Team News and Ticks, a reputable source for Arsenal-related updates, Guimaraes is one of the players Arsenal have reached out to in the past week to explore the possibility of a summer transfer.

David Ornstein‘s recent claim that Arsenal are keenly interested in Guimaraes as a player and potential signing has prompted further developments.
